In 2005 Rogers Ranch claimed 17
horses throughout the three meets between Hawthorne and Arlington. I
compiled a record of 62 starts with 11 wins-12 seconds- 16
thirds and 3 fourths and 2 fifths thrown in for good measure.
That computes to 18% win and 62% in top three money. Not to bad for
my first year back into owning after a several year hiatus. My
thanks to Mike Reavis (my trainer)
and his crew for a job well done.
In the year 2006, I toned down my
racing operation to concentrate more on the breeding side. However,
I did claim a few horses and ran 6 different horses during the year.
I compiled a record of 28 starts with 6 wins-2 seconds-7 thirds and
4 fourths and 5 fifths. That computes to 21% win and 54% in top
three money. Again I thank Mike Reavis here in Illinois, and my new trainer Randy Allen who is based at Philadelphia Park. Both
guys did a GREAT job!!
In 2007 and into 2008 I only raced
one horse named Ice Jules at Philadelphia Park. She did an amazing
job winning 5 races. Ice Jules was claimed away from me in 2008.
I now have a three year old colt named Day of Truth.
He will be ready to race in March of 2010.
See ya at the track!!!
